I love how much information and education is available for free online. I’ve gained so much by studying what others have shared in both free and paid material.

But the moment I learn is not when I’ve consumed the content—it’s when I apply it in my life and do something with the information. Passive consumption alone is not enough.

Reading a tutorial, or watching videos with tips and advice, can seem productive. You might feel like you’re getting better, but you have to put the things you learn into practice.

At some point, you have to stop consuming, stop overthinking, and stop living vicariously. Make a choice to take action.

The only way to get better is by doing—not by simply consuming books, guides, or videos. Until you take action, all you have is information. Action turns information into knowledge.
