In the spirit of things, I want to talk about being thankful.
It’s Thanksgiving when you’re watching this, but I’m not actually recording this on Thanksgiving, because I’m not crazy. Ok, I’m a little crazy, but not that crazy.
Right now as you’re watching this I’m spending time with my family, don’t worry. I just wanted to put out something timely, while we’re in the spirit of this, it had me reflecting on thankfulness.
We Don’t Say Thanks Often Enough
Often it’s with the people that are closest to us. We don’t hesitate to thank a stranger who holds a door open for us, but when was the last time you:
- Thanked your wife just for being your friend?
- Thanked your brother for being a good listener?
- Thanked your parents for working hard to support you growing up?
Yes, be thankful for things that you have. Be thankful for being fortunate enough to have a computer or mobile device with an internet connection where you can actually watch this video, but also:
Take time today to thank somebody who does something you take for granted.
Let them know they’re appreciated.
I’m going to keep this short. I just want to say to those of you who have subscribed, left a podcast review, written a comment, told a friend about the show, maybe bought something from me, you’re a Community member, or you just sent an encouraging email…
I appreciate you. Thank you for your support. I’m humbled by your kind words. Thanks for being there consistently and engaging and supporting what I do.
It means the whole world, so thank you.
