When you find out that you are the problem in any circumstance of your life—an issue with a client, your family, your job, etc.—you can do one of two things: you can get depressed and feel bad about yourself or you can realize if you are the problem, you are also the solution.
You know what’s frustrating? Living in a circumstance that is outside of your control.
It’s frustrating to live in a place where conditions are not ideal and you can’t do anything about it. It’s someone else’s responsibility and you can’t change anything.
You know what should never happen? Living in unpleasant circumstances that are within your control.
When you realize that if you are the problem, you are the solution, nothing is more empowering. This means:
Everything that’s needed to solve your problem resides within you.
You are the solution if you are the problem. The next time you realize that you messed up, you did something wrong, or you are the problem in the situation, don’t get depressed. Don’t feel bad about yourself.
Don’t look to the past. Realize that you are also the solution and that solution, and everything that is required to solve the problem in front of you, resides within you.
